With a well-placed thumb, a puncture is made. The digit pierces through the tough exterior to the fresh juices within. The pomegranate breaks open, spritzing the face of the opener. Just as fall settles into its groove, it’s almost time to yearn for the electric novelty of summer.
LOEWE’s teaser for the SS26 Women’s Collection is just that: hot, new, and exciting. Drenched in primary colors, sweat, and mineral water, these photos introduce a new era of LOEWE — the first collection under the creative direction of Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. The campaign is sensual and vibrant, like a low-hanging summer fruit on a spring or summer day.
The models, photographed by American fine-arts photographer Talia Chetrit, consist of up-and-coming actors making cinematic and telematic waves now and in the near future. Like the Spanish fashion house, these artists are also on the brink of new discovery, relevance, and meaning.
Meanwhile, we have a few months to soak up the comforting ebbs and flows of autumn and winter before this new life starts. When the flowers bloom and the pomegranates ripen in the spring, a new season—in all senses of the word—will begin at LOEWE.
