A century after Montblanc revolutionized the geographical limitations of writers with its trailblazing leather pen pouches, the Maison presented its newest innovative designs. At Milan Men’s Fashion Week, the Spring/Summer 2027 Leather Collections debuted, featuring pieces developed with artists in mind. Implementing unique organizational tools within the designs, including dedicated spaces for pens, watches, and wallets, the collection seeks to honor Montblanc’s heritage and expertise.
Each debuted piece showcases elegance and craftsmanship, offering utility and history, through the design and material. Featuring soft leather and new jewel-toned colorways, the collection explores writing as a creative and tool-dependent process that encourages reflection and evolution. With bags, document holders, and writing boxes, Montblanc supports and protects the craft of writing, meeting writers’ needs to facilitate the process. Written works are not accessories, but rather the centerpiece to each new product.

In the Milan showroom at Salone dei Tessuti, Montblanc reaffirmed this belief with installations honoring the Maison’s heritage and allowing guests to engage in the acts Montblanc upholds. An oversized version of the Writing Traveler bag was displayed in the showroom, acting as a “cabinet of curiosities” with the interior organization pockets on exhibition. In the center, Montblanc’s Tree of Writing, crafted with leather roots and paper branches, recounted the history of Montblanc as an active participant in the evolution of writing culture. A live demonstration of the making of Montblanc’s pioneering pen pouches recalled the Maison’s origin story and offered insight into their craftsmanship.
