Tastemakers across creative industries joined together for Met Gala 2025 on March 5, offering diverse explorations of the theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.’ Menswear and delicate tailoring naturally defined the night, with many looks crafted in acknowledgement of the cultural and historical significance of Black dandyism. The attention of detail was evident as attendees sported look after look with hyper-fine detailing and intricate backstories — underscoring that Black dandyism is not exclusive to the Gala and fashion itself, but is a cultural movement that continues to evolve.

From the pre-carpet preparations to post-event celebrations, here are some moments that helped emulate the refined nature and cultural significance of the night.
