A ritual dating back to the Gilded Age doyenne of New York high society, Caroline Astor, started the Midnight Supper, giving rise to the exclusive “Four Hundred.” The contemporary version of the tradition was revitalized by St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, which, alongside Drake’s, gathered a guest list including Emmy and Tony Award-winning actor and singer Neil Patrick Harris, Tony Award-winner Leslie Odom Jr., along with an array of tastemakers, editors, and cultural luminaries for a Midnight Supper celebrating the launch of their collaborative limited-edition Father’s Day capsule collection.

British menswear label Drake’s debuted their new collection, seamlessly fusing St. Regis’s heritage with their own distinct tailoring and craftsmanship. The collection features a green silk necktie, a silk pocket square adorned with both brands’ insignia, a vintage-inspired baseball cap, and a silk-blend bandana.
Hosted at The St. Regis New York, the evening offered guests a variety of cocktails, paired with refined British cuisine, and a private performance by Grammy Award-winning pianist André Chez Lewis. As the night unfolded, Neil Patrick Harris performed the St. Regis’s celebrated ritual of sabering a bottle of champagne.

The Midnight Supper paid homage to the St. Regis New York, continuing its tradition of acting as a facilitator for individuals across the realms of fashion, culture, and hospitality. Reimagining an old-world gathering for modern day, the ongoing collaboration with Drake’s and St. Regis Hotels & Resorts celebrates enduring heritage and style.
