Shocking. Positively shocking.
These are the words that describe the calibre to which OMEGA’s watch design has been refined to excellence. They are also the same words uttered in 1964’s Goldfinger by a classy, womanizing British secret agent who, after electrocuting an assassin in a bathtub, possesses a folkloric discipline emblematic of a spirit larger than Hollywood’s silver screens.
For over thirty years, luxury watchmaker OMEGA and fictional anti-hero James Bond have bonded over a shared devotion to duty. To freedom. To loyalty. To efficiency. To qualities of the such, which glimmer in both high-stakes action sequences and in the bejeweled, fine craftsmanship of OMEGA’s new James Bond And Spectre Collection.
Introducing the Seamaster Diver 300M, OMEGA’s new collection in collaboration with the James Bond film franchise includes six Seamaster Diver 300M timepieces. Three of these designs hold a symbol of James Bond at the center, while the other three bear the symbol of Spectre—an octopus whose tentacles hang onto air, open with the blank possibility of clutching the world’s power in its embrace. Showing off dualistically against one another, OMEGA’s symbols of Bond vs. Spectre purposefully clash, offering the wearer the choice to pick between contrasting loyalties—between the questionably good and questionably evil, between the combative instincts we each hold within us, no matter how heroic or villainous we make ourselves seem.

Two stainless-steel editions are available individually—one on Team Bond, the other on Team Spectre. Joined by two limited-edition sets, one for each side of the story, designs meld together steel watches with platinum gold models. Gun barrel emblems decorate the Bond watches, while the Spectre octopus looms on the other Spectre models.
Holding it all together are limited-edition presentation boxes, providing NATO straps and strap-changing tools, cufflinks, cord bracelets, a loop, a leather travel bag, and a card holder. “007” is engraved into the strap keepers for the James Bond models, while the Spectre octopus is engraved in the Spectre models’ strap keepers. Overall, the collection clashes, yet remains uniform in the choice for luxurious, perhaps even ominous, self-adornment.
To celebrate the collection’s launch on October 5, the OMEGA boutique in Glendale, California opened the “Timeless Adversaries: James Bond and Spectre Exhibition.” For five weeks, guests have the opportunity to see more than twenty original props from the James Bond films in two archival spaces, holding pieces on display all the way from the OMEGA Museum in Biel, Switzerland. The exposition is interactive, offering photo booths and the chance to see the two watches squaring off against each other. The exhibit is on display until November 8th, 2026.
