What do you carry with you? “Phone, keys, wallet,” you might repeat like a mantra before stepping out the door, a modern checklist of survival. But the exclusive Bvlgari Icons Minaudière Collection, designed by bags and accessories creative director Mary Katrantzou, suggests there is something else we carry, often unconsciously: culture itself. Memory, history, taste, and identity are the essentials that shape how we move through the world, even when they don’t fit neatly into a bag.

Enter the Icons Collection of minaudières, a series of jewel-like clutches. It marks Bvlgari’s first-ever minaudière collection and will be available at just 11 boutiques worldwide. Each piece pays tribute to one of five enduring symbols from Bvlgari’s heritage, translating the house’s archival motifs into sculptural objects meant to be held close. Every minaudière is intentionally designed to be too small to hold a phone. The choice is deliberate: discarding needless connectivity in favor of presence, ritual, and the tactile pleasure of carrying something precious.

The accompanying campaign brings this philosophy to life through five women whose work has helped shape contemporary culture across disciplines. Oscar-nominated actor Isabella Rossellini, model Linda Evangelista, actor Kim Ji-won, author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, and architect Sumayya Vally each embody a different facet of influence—artistic, intellectual, architectural, literary. Together, they frame the minaudière as a symbol of what endures: the ideas, stories, and values we carry long after we leave the house.
