If Angelenos are lucky, they might just get a chance to see—and buy—the future of art, fashion, and design, right at home in West Hollywood. Basic.Space LA, the invite-only curatorial shopping platform, returns to Los Angeles on March 27 at the Pacific Design Center.
Basic.Space’s in-person shopping experience launched in 2025, taking their online curatorial prowess to IRL venues. Members can purchase curated works of art, fashion pieces, and designs online, and now, once again, in the flesh at Basic.Space LA (aptly titled, Own the Future™) the beginning of a multi-city series of showings.

The Walker Guest House (1951), the first ever independent commission by modernist architect Paul Rudolph, takes center stage at the Pacific Design Center Plaza, fully realized with its original interior furnishings and architectural plans. Recognized as one of the most important homes of the 20th century, the Walker Guest House appears to be caged in by a system of external wood panels, anchored by red cannonball counterweights. Walker Guest House is up for sale at Basic.Space LA, allowing members to own a piece of design history.

Other highlights from the show include a myriad of showings and curations by Basic.Space’s up-and-coming artists and designers. Glade Miami, Army Blanket (2020) by Rick Owens conjures an immersive seating space, constructed with Batipan plywood and covered in French wool army blankets. Resonating Ping Pong Table by James De Wulf, the winner of Best Design at Design Miami.Paris reimagines the table tennis table with aluminum bell panels, with each bounce of the ball ringing out for all to hear. Artists such as Pierre Jeanneret, Jean Prouvé, Olivier Mourgue, Parafernalia, Gufram, and more will bring their works to a dreamspace curated by Isabelle Angèle.
Basic.Space LA opens for VIP access on March 27, with the main event running March 28–29, 2026. For Los Angeles collectors, design enthusiasts, and the merely curious, it promises a rare opportunity to step inside the future of aesthetics.
