Upping its style while preserving its function, Praesidus has reimagined the Jungle Field 38mm Automatic, an upsized version of the brand’s best-selling field watch. Designed around the 1967 GG-W-113 specification for US military pilots, the 38mm Automatic is Praesidus’s response to their community's desire for a modernized watch with a rugged look. 

Growing from 34mm to 38mm, the Jungle Field increases wearability while maintaining its vintage sensibilities. The case is 0.20mm thick and 46mm lug-to-lug, making it slim and visually balanced across wrist sizes. Hidden inside is the Miyota 9039 automatic, a no-date caliber with a 40-hour power reserve, rated to 10 ATM.

The sandblasted 316L stainless steel and black watch face increases visibility, a non-negotiable feature for the original design's pilot patrons. The popcorn black option features beige SuperLumiNova hour markers that mirror the patina of vintage military watches. For a more modern utilitarian look, the matte black background is boldly paired with printed white indexes, allowing for maximum contrast and no reflections. Both designs feature the 24-hour ring and the luminous arrows that define the original GG-W-113 layout.
