Franciacorta Studio, an exhibition and cultural project by Italian wine producer Franciacorta, unveiled during Milan Design Week 2026, explores the intersection of design, material, and the narrative of its origins. Taking place at the refined Slowear Milan, this project is a collaboration with Italian marble company Luce di Carrara, part of the Henraux Group.
Interpreting the FuoriSalone theme, Essere Progetto (“Being a Project”), Franciacorta Studio serves as a platform for research and experimentation. At the core of the exhibition is the power of transformation, inherent to both wine and marble. Both are shaped by human touch, guided in their development, and elevated into products rooted in luxury and lifestyle.

A sensory feast, the exhibition leads visitors through the Franciacorta terroir, focusing on the land and its people. Guests are guided through the various stages of material transformation, with the experience enhanced by one-of-a-kind marble installations by Luce di Carrara.
Franciacorta Studio also serves as a cultural platform, inviting conversation, tastings, and experiential moments. Designed for professionals, enthusiasts, and the wider public, the program merges educational content, entertainment, and storytelling—fostering connection and curiosity.

To celebrate the collaboration between Franciacorta and Luce di Carrara, the exhibition debuts a collection of wine service accoutrements—including a bowl, bottle holder, ice bucket, coasters, and tray—designed by Pierattelli Architetture. The collection is inspired by the process of condensation, featuring sandblasted Versilys marble surfaces and wood elements that create a soft, captivating effect.
Blending the art of winemaking and marble craftsmanship, Franciacorta Studio offers an ongoing dialogue between nature, culture, and design. Immersing visitors in the sensory and cultural journey, Milan Design Week 2026 becomes the stage to celebrate the transformative power of matter.
