Memories of the past are intertwined with the present at Lasoste’s Fall/Winter 2026 runway show. Drawing inspiration from the 1923 Davis Cup match between the brand's namesake, René Lacoste and Spain's Manuel de Goma, which resulted in a triumph for René, paving his way to becoming a world champion. Lacoste Creative Director, Pelagia Kolotouros, uses this narrative as inspiration for her latest collection.
A blend of 1920’s and 80’s style, Kolotouros celebrates the spirit of competition and fan culture. Adopting a new approach to outerwear, a capsule collection in collaboration with heritage Scottish outerwear brand Mackintosh was created, placing an emphasis on waterproofing and technical fabrics. Cornerstones of the collection include a poncho polo, a rain-proof tracksuit, a pleated trench skirt, and a hybrid track jacket shirt. Quintessentially Lacoste, the crocodile logo, a heritage emblem, is renewed, appearing in embroidery.

Expanding off the notion of functional elegance, reflective nylon jackets and plush velvet blazers are paired with tennis skirts. Kolotouros’ embraces a genderless aesthetic, a palette of cool greys, inky heathers, and dark wet metals accented with Agave Green and Rusty Red, invite wearers to blend seamlessly in both the sporting and urban landscapes. An homage to spectators is portrayed via weathered trophy pins, digital watches, Grand Slam T-shirts, and tracksuits.
Lacoste Fall/Winter 2026 is a reflection and an homage to the tenacious spirit of a young René Lacoste. Connecting over a century of history to the present, Lacoste remains true to the essence of sport; however, Kolotouros' adaptation provides a versatility for the modern person.
