Manhattan or Brooklyn. The blinking hand of a crosswalk or the smoking exhaust of a taxi. Car-filled boulevards or narrow alleyways. Cigarette butts in gutters or rust peeling away at fire escapes. Central Park or Washington Square. Open fire hydrants in July or the first snow of December. New York City was built on duality, the existence of two truths at once. The New York one person experiences relies on their decisions, remolding their perspective of the city. This constant promise of a new New York at every sunrise creates an obsession, knowing each day is unknown.

DKNY’s new Fall/Winter 2026 collection explores the dichotomy of New York. Featuring Iris Law and Amelia Gray, the collection pulls inspiration from both downtown and uptown, merging every facet of the city into a finite number of pieces. How the wearer styles each piece ultimately determines which parts of New York they give credence to. Continuing DKNY’s commitment to versatile fashion, the F/W capsule presents an ever-changing New York, even transforming during the day.

Within the collection, Gray represents the storied boldness of uptown. Like the chic architecture of the Upper West Side, she is the timeless hum of the city. Law brings the downtown edge, presenting a modern reflection of Lower Manhattan. As skyscrapers jut through to the skyline, her vision drives the heart of New York. Wearing identical pieces, the multifacetedness of both the city and the collection are captured.

Dark palettes and animal prints define the collection. With sophisticated pinstripes and casual denim, the capsule elicits New York’s variety and diversity. Blazers and vests offer a transition between masculine and feminine styles. Statement pieces meet reserved designs to harmonize the opposites within the city. Here, New York is not just the suited meetings of Midtown offices or the relaxed streetwear of Queens, but the ecotone between. Neighborhood boundaries are blurred to encapsulate the entirety of New York. And in this borderland, the identity of New York forms through unique perspectives.
