Fusing the traditional elements of a timepiece and explorative elements of science fiction gives birth to the unequaled designs of Bvlgari's newest pieces. Just ahead of the Geneva Days Convention, which celebrates the beauty of independent watchmaking, Bvlgari is celebrating the release of 3 new editions in its collection with a focus on highlighting the creative lengths and alliance of ideas between the brand and the maison. The collection features a design, Octo Finissimo Dual Time x Vianney Halter, marking the first time in the house's history that it has collaborated with an independent watchmaker to launch a collection celebrating new explorations in titanium design and perspectives on creation.  

The collection's newest piece, Bvlgari Titanio, introduces titanium to the Bvlgari Aluminium collection with two new models: a GMT and a Chronograph. Both feature the collection’s recognizable rubber elements as well as grade 5 titanium. 

The collaboration results in a genesis of ideas between the brand as it is and the vision of the independent designer Vianney Halter, and designers Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani, Product Creation Executive Director at Bvlgari. Together, they blend their independent but cohesive visions, inspired by Jules Verne and the Victorian era of science fiction.

The Octo Finissimo Dazzle introduces a new take on the ultra-thin timepiece, with its titanium case and bracelet laser-engraved in-house with a geometric pattern inspired by automotive camouflage. The fragmented pattern creates an optical illusion that blurs the watch’s lines and angles, merging the watch into the pattern. With a design almost ridding it of its time-telling intention as a whole, designers opted to leave the timepiece recognizable only by its silhouette.
