Since its inception in 1925, FENDI has built a legacy on the pillars of restoration, quality craftsmanship, and sustainability. In reflection of these principles is one of the House’s most adored and iconic designs, the Baguette. As one of the original “It Bags”, the Baguette is specifically crafted to fit under the wearer’s arm like a loaf of bread. It’s perfectly chic and timeless.
As an ode to the 1997 classic, FENDI hosted a celebration for the Baguette® 26424 Re-Edition along with The Baguette Lab at its Madison Avenue flagship in New York City. Guests were immersed in an exclusive first look at the release, which is set to be unveiled in Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Fall/Winter 2026-27 debut collection. This rendition reinterprets the original model with a softer, more comfortable fabrication. In addition, this collection honors the artisanal commitment of FENDI’s long-time relationship with Mumbai-based Chanakya Atelier and School of Craft. As the Baguette evolved, the possibilities were endless with Chanakya’s focus on the art of experimentation and precision. Mirror work, carpet-inspired embroideries, detailed threadwork, crystals, sequins, and the timeless tiger motif were brought to life with the development of raffia, silk thread, and carpet looping. With this re-edition, FENDI’s collaborative efforts remain sacred and masterful.

The Baguette® 26424 Re-Edition offers twenty designs inspired by FENDI’s archive. With a specialized Re-Edition metal tag, the collection arrives in a wooden box customized with stencils and secured with a yellow canvas belt and metal logo buckle.
In support of the House’s sustainability principles, The Baguette Lab provides restoration services for refurbishing vintage Baguette bags. With its nationwide launch beginning this July, guests were welcomed with a complimentary bag renovation. This experience underscores FENDI’s commitment to durability practice, emphasizing that its most beloved bag deserves to last.

Fittingly dressed in FENDI, guests in attendance include Blake Lively, Olivia Wilde, Delilah Belle Hamlin, Ella Hunt, Deacon Phillippe, Lux Pascal, Esther McGregor, Tessa Brooks, Jack Martin, Michael Rainey Jr., Dylan Martin, Lily Chee, Mona Matsuoka, Ayra Starr, and others.
Beloved around the world for its bold and unique artistry, FENDI continues to uphold a legacy that extends beyond its designs and anchors a dedication to vintage sustainability.
