In homage to Swiss precision and Japanese artistry, Akoni Eyewear values the honor of design and luxury, crafting products with purpose that portray technological advancement and timeless charm. The Frames Chronicles is a new storytelling series exploring the importance of possessions through the lens of different collectors, showcasing how belongings depict traces of the owners' identities.

The series begins with the intimate belongings of entrepreneur Christian Sieber, highlighting milestones and pivotal moments throughout his life. The personal items, including a ceremonial golf wedge, the keys to a sports car, Marcus Aurelius’ Meditations, and a pair of Akoni Eris-Two Anniversary Edition glasses, represent Sieber’s grit and discipline through his momentous endeavors.

The second chapter, featuring the founder of The Watch Rookie, Danny Dayekh, is a devotional story about the emotional and technical resilience in the craftsmanship of watchmaking. His devotion to collecting reflects the importance of understanding the craft and the humanity behind each object.

The third part of the series explores the narrative of Emily Marsden, recognised for her platform, Secret Diary of a Watch Girl. Her voice centers on evolutionary technological practice and the important relationship between collector and collection. Her story illustrates the rise of more passionate collectors who value the trade itself over prestige.

Through a cinematic documentary-style series, Frames Chronicles takes viewers through an emotional arc of intimacy and intention. Standing on the foundation of Akoni’s principles, the series reflects how possessions are not just pieces of ownership but markers of individual experiences.

“Because some objects are meant to be used. Others are meant to be lived. And then there are those that remain. Frames Chronicles is a story of collectors — where nothing is ever just a thing.”
