It is said that pictures are worth a thousand words. This might only be a rough estimate, and more often than not, it's hyperbole. But there are times when the photos are worth far more than a thousand words. And a thousand words would be too few. A thousand words would not do the picture justice. Those words would not be able to capture the feeling of immense pride in sporting a new pair of pants. Or the longing of a lost relationship.Or the unbounded desire of a new one. All these intimate moments would be lost in translation.

Versace’s Spring Summer 2026 Campaign shoots for a distinct portrayal of this intimacy. Three distinguished photographers, unified only in their relentless mission to express sexuality, each provide an individualized look into Versace’s continuing exploration of self-expression.

Tania Franco Klein employs a darkened, saturated glow, clouding the lines between actuality and illusion. Frank Lebon revamps the typical highbrow fashion imagery and adds an analog flair. Steven Meisel confronts blandness and standardization with hyper-contrast and variety, creating a sense of patterned innovation.

All of these photographers, each with their own unique vision, articulate Versace’s unspoken commitment to free expression in ingenious luxury. It continues what Versace began last September in its Versace Embodied project. In this new collection, dialogue carries on between the traditional and the contemporary, the sophisticated and the uncouth, and the prude and mischievous, through these people, both in front of and behind the camera. These innovators transform every frame into a work of art, untouchable or inexpressible in words.
