The newest thing in luxury shoes has arrived, and it’s crisp, clean, and undeniably cool. But that’s obvious: what else could we expect from professional skateboarders? HRS is the new label by Erik Ellington and Dennis Martin, and this brand aims to give modern footwear a new name, which is, to be specific, the Del Rey “Black Diamond.”
Ellington and Martin wanted their shoes to reference their background as skateboarders while similatenously being a product that is lasting and of high quality. The result is impressive: a fresh loafer handmade with Italian leathers and the best materials.
And the brand is supported by a team of sensational skateboarders on the scene right now: There’s Bryan Herman, joining HRS after leaving his former shoe sponsor of 17 years. Rory Milanes is a Londoner and DJ who loves house music. Meanwhile, Keith Hardy is a fashionable nineteen-year-old from the Bronx. And then there’s Lucien Clarke, Jamaican-born and English-raised model sponsored by Palace.
