It’s that time of year again. While frequently-quoted Carrie Bradshaw of Sex and the City once confessed to buying a fresh, hot-off-the-presses fashion mag instead of dinner, there is absolutely no reason to go hungry over New York Fashion Week.
Read below for FLAUNT’s picks for the best places to eat and drink in New York this Fashion Week:
For those who missed their flights to Paris for the Haute Couture shows in January (or anyone looking for a taste of Paris without leaving the 10012), Café Mulberry is the place to be. The NoLita all-day café is cozy and deliciously chic. It’s a joint for a lingering coffee, a glass of champagne, a seasonal pastry, a Jambon Beurre, or tuna tartare and caviar.
Nestled right above the Mulberry cocktail bar, Café Mulberry offers a quiet respite from the bustle and noise of the city. It’s a break from the endless wireless drivel that plagues our everyday lives—a doctrine that is enforced by the café’s strict no-laptop policy.
Leo Jacob, Phil Meynell, and Justin Sievers opened Café Mulberry in November 2025, joining a multitude of restaurants defining NoLita’s dining scene. This Fashion Week, take your seat upstairs.
Or maybe you’ve headed further west to Tribeca, where you’d find Fouquet’s New York, a one-stop shop for dining, drinks, and detox in the five-star, French-inspired Hotel.
There’s Brasserie, a classic Parisian restaurant led by the three-Michelin-starred chef Pierre Gagnaire, serving delicacies like steak tartare, escargots, foie gras, and more. Or, venture to the high-fashion speakeasy Titsou Bar for some 1920s Paris glamour and tailor-made cocktails (the N.Y.G. Vesper Martini with Belvedere Organic Vodka and black geranium gin is a staple).

Fouquet’s is partnering with Meadow Lane, the City’s newest and most viral gourmet grocer this NYFW, allowing guests to pre-order any of their signature juices. On-demand, in-room spray tans bookable through the concierge are available for guests, as well as TERA Pilates heated mat classes on February 11 through 13 in the spa. Turmeric Milk, sweat, and lamb confit all wrapped up into one go down like a fashion week antidote—proof that indulgence and discipline can share an itinerary.

The classic elegance doesn’t end when you head to Midtown, as evidenced by Fasano Restaurant, serving Milanese classics and wine—a preview for the flavors to come at Milan Fashion Week later this month.
After appetizers and small bites at the lively Fasano Bar, a dinner of Spigola All’isolana or Bistecca in the elegant main dining room, head upstairs to Baretto, a sultry jazz club, a cult favorite for live performances and Bossa Nova.

Midtown carries the same sense of occasion. Fasano moves from aperitivo to encore without breaking its spell—Milanese plates, a cellar built for lingering, and then Baretto’s low-lit stage humming with jazz and Bossa Nova. Dinner becomes atmosphere; atmosphere becomes memory. By the time you step back onto the avenue, New York feels momentarily European, already gesturing toward Milan.
In Flatiron, bright, Mediterranean cuisine takes center stage at Barlume. Warm pita, fava bean hummus, spinach tzatziki, grilled branzino, and more bring together Barlume’s warm, fresh, and nostalgic menu, served at brunch, lunch, and dinner.
If you’ve ever traveled anywhere in the Mediterranean, you know how easy it is to stay. And stay you will, long into the night, at Barlume Downstairs, the subterranean cocktail club tucked just below the dining room. The flagship opened in the heart of New York City in January 2025 and has since expanded to the Algarve and Marbella, carrying its sun-soaked spirit from Manhattan to the Mediterranean coast. Upstairs, light floods the airy room and the menu celebrates bright, fresh flavors from afternoon to midnight. Downstairs, plush seating, dim lighting, live DJs, and crafted cocktails set the tone for a quintessential New York night out—intimate, seductive, and impossible to leave early.
Fashion Week is a runway for more than just clothes—it’s a taste, a mood, a city in motion. From the Parisian-inspired elegance of Café Mulberry and Fouquet’s to the Milanese flair of Fasano and the Mediterranean sun at Barlume, New York’s dining scene dresses every moment in style. Each plate, cocktail, and pastry feels as carefully curated as a front-row look, a wink to the designers, stylists, and editors who make Fashion Week both a spectacle and a lifestyle. Whether you linger over brunch, toast at a subterranean bar, or savor a Michelin-starred dinner, New York feeds the appetite for glamour, creativity, and the kind of indulgence only Fashion Week can inspire.
