Premiering this summer in the form of two celebratory bi-coastal tasting experiences, Dom Pérignon has released three new additions to their extensive vintage offerings. The brand’s Expressions of Harmony unfolds as a sensuous, interactive journey marked by three interwoven chapters, presenting the Dom Pérignon Vintage 2017, Vintage 2008 Plénitude 2, and Rosé Vintage 2010 in a unified display of heritage. Debuting at the High Line Nine in New York City and the James Fuentes Gallery in Los Angeles, the presentation aims to uplift Dom Pérignon’s creative persistence, expressing a steadfast belief in the values of patience and synthesis.

The airy Dom Pérignon Vintage 2017 leads Expressions of Harmony with its distinct duality, presenting a fresh, sweet flavor that balances substantiality and lightweight movement. Vintage 2008 Pléntitude 2 continues this journey, revealing an interior facet to the brand’s display. With the element of time at the center of this particular chapter, this champagne is paired with a singular dish, prepared to bolster its fifteen year evolution. Concluding with Rosé Vintage 2010, Dom Pérignon showcases harmony through transformation, displaying a traditional mochitsuki ritual in which guests can witness the wine’s genesis. The dynamic nature of its flavor is defined by a light yet powerful presence in the mouth, the luxuriant result of a challenging harvest.

To fully communicate their vision of unity, Dom Pérignon partners with EN Japanese Brasserie and Reika Alexander, driven by a shared value of intuition in creativity. The experience’s culinary dimension is developed in support of its starring champagnes, embodying harmony in the artisanal craft of food and wine pairings. Creative collaborations with Markus Dochantschi of studioMDA and Jonathan Weiss of Oswalds Mill Audio further the sensory coherence of the experience, utilizing inclusions of light, visuals, and sound in a comprehensive display of balance. The ceremonial performance developed by Kodama Taiko’s Karren Tsutsui emphasizes the power of creative synthesis in Mochitsuki usu and kine practices. The ambitious artistry of Dom Pérignon sustains its balance, devoted to acts of preservation and transformation.
