As Giorgio Armani once said, “elegance is not standing out, but being remembered.”
In the two decades since launching his made-to-order fashion line, Giorgio Armani Privé, Armani has made appearances on countless red carpets, most recently by Elle Fanning and Irina Shayk at this year’s star-studded Cannes Film Festival. Now, the Italian fashion designer is unveiling his latest exhibition at Armani/Silos, the fashion art museum in Milan, showcasing his elegance in a manner that will surely not be forgotten.
The exhibition, Giorgio Armani Privé 2005-2025, Twenty Years of Haute Couture, explores themes of timeless beauty and exquisite craftsmanship, presented across a myriad of tasteful silhouettes in a dreamlike atmosphere. Rooted in evergreen creativity, the capsule can be widely recognized by its refined lines, quality materials and jeweled embroideries–which was a new expression of style for Armani when he first debuted Privé on an evening in Paris in 2005.
“Twenty years of Giorgio Armani Privé have been an extraordinary, liberating journey,” Giorgio Armani shares. “Now, I want to share it with a wider audience – inviting them into this dream of mine – a dream of dresses woven from imagination and grace. A very special world that takes on new meaning in this exhibition.”
Dazzled in sensory enrichment, the exhibition offers visitors an immersive journey that matures with every step. Each garment is sprayed with Armani’s signature Prive Bois d’Encens Perfume and an original L’Antidote soundtrack guides guests throughout.
The Giorgio Armani Privé 2005-2025, Twenty Years of Haute Couture exhibition is open now and will run through December 28.
