To Maria Grazia Chiuri, our bodies are made of desire. It’s this philosophy that imbues Chiuri’s first Couture collection for FENDI, rendering designs that indulge the body, designs that liberate rather than constrain, while catering to our corporeal desire.

The Couture Jewelry Collection, an addition to FENDI’s Fall/Winter 2026/2027 collection, is an embodiment of this sentiment. The collection was incepted under the direction of Maria Grazia Chiuri, and Roman artist Pietro Ruffo initially sketched the drawings for the pieces. Goldsmiths Stefano Palazzi and Paolo Del Ferraro transformed the sketches into profoundly intricate pieces of gold jewelry, forging pieces that are bold, sensuous, and elegant. The snake is a prominent motif in this collection, epitomizing fluidity, corporeal freedom, and the primality of temptation and desire. Also included are pendants and rings featuring Roman imagery, invoking a certain divinity to amplify Chiuri’s themes of freedom and the body.
