It’s no surprise that Dom Pérignon is a symbol of luxury. With a reputation, quality and price tag of equally impressive measure, the champagne would be most at home on a yacht in the Mediterranean sea or clutched in the fingers of a jeweled hand.
Is there any better way to enjoy such a wine than during an extravagant weekend at a sprawling private estate in the Hamptons? From July 19th to July 21st, lovers of the esteemed champagne will be able to experience a unique gastronomic event presented by Dom Pérignon. Those lucky enough to snag a spot at the event will experience the unveiling of two separate—but equally anticipated—vintages, Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015 followed by Vintage 2006 Plénitude 2.
To add to the overall luxuriousness, the brand has enlisted the services of Francis Mallmann, the Argentinian chef with a reputation to rival the champagne house’s. As guests chat and sip away under the summer sun, the restaurateur will take them on a culinary journey of textures and flavors that mirror the contrast found within the champagnes.
True to their sparkling reputation, Dom Pérignon is producing a meticulously curated event, down to the last champagne flute. With a backdrop of 21 lush acres and the sparkling sea, guests will first taste Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015 followed by Vintage 2006 Plénitude 2, as they’re served perfectly timed courses that are, in Mallman’s words, “an invitation to explore the nuanced depths of these spectacular vintages.”
