At Miami Art Basel, you can expect nothing short of excellence—and TAG Heuer knows this better than anyone. The Swiss luxury watchmaker’s latest exclusive event celebrated its newest collaboration with Japanese designer and musician Hiroshi Fujiwara: the Carrera Chronograph x fragment. The evening unfolded with the energy and anticipation that have come to define the brand’s presence at Art Basel, signaling another milestone in TAG Heuer’s long history of innovation.

The timepiece itself is a testament to TAG Heuer’s masterful balance of the old and the new, the timeless and the modern. Fujiwara’s reinterpretation of the brand’s classic glassbox design nods to the mid-century motifs of the 1960s, while pushing into fresh, contemporary territory. The Carrera Chronograph x fragment is entirely its own creation, embedding Fujiwara’s signature style. In blending eras so seamlessly, the collaboration underscores TAG Heuer’s rigorous commitment to craftsmanship, hurtling the brand into the future.

The event was co-hosted by Fujiwara and George Ciz, TAG Heuer’s Chief Marketing Officer, at Shiso—the Japanese-Caribbean fusion smokehouse and beloved Miami fixture. The guest list brought together a constellation of creatives and cultural figures, including TAG Heuer ambassador and actress Alexandra Daddario, actress Isabella Santoni, artist and DJ Mia Moretti, entrepreneur Bianca Senna, professional golfer Paris Hilinski, model and DJ Deja Monet, photographer RIOCAM, musician Symphani Soto, and photographer Flo Ngala, among others.

At cocktail hour, with some eclectic tracks spun by Mia Moretti, guests sipped custom cocktails and savored passed hand rolls. Once seated, attendees were treated to a decadent four-course dinner featuring shiso salad, sausage-stuffed shishito peppers, oxtail udon noodles, and more. An excellent meal for an excellent watch, pairing culinary artistry with horological craftsmanship.

The night was a celebration of what makes TAG Heuer, well, TAG Heuer: a relentless pursuit of precision, beauty, and boundary-pushing design. As the brand unveiled its latest collaboration beneath the glow of Miami’s art-soaked energy, it did so with the confidence of a house that is, in its own words, Designed to Win.
