Fashion and functionality have long sparred for dominance, each reluctant to bend for the other. Too often, people choose what they wear based on moods or settings, boxing in both their closets and their imaginations. Hiroshi Fujiwara breaks this rigid mold, partnering with Burton Snowboards to create attire that can be worn at any elevation.

Burton Snowboards is a brand built on movement and the frigid freedom of snowboarding. Founded in 1977 by Jake Burton Carpenter, the environmentally driven label has long been committed to creating sustainable gear for extreme weather. Fellow snowboarding enthusiast Hiroshi Fujiwara expands on this vision with pieces designed to be worn in any and every climate. Having spent nearly 30 years on the slopes, Fujiwara often finds himself slipping into his summit gear for everyday wear—a habit that naturally evolved into the desire to design a collection that carries that same versatility.

Though snowboarding is one of his great passions, Fujiwara is equally celebrated for his work in music and design. In this collaboration with Burton, he fuses those creative instincts with his love of the sport, producing apparel that feels just as fitting off the slopes as it does on them.

The collection features a handful of optimized gear, including technical hardware in the form of Acamar pants, jackets, and vests. Each follows a monochromatic colorway that can be easily mixed and matched. Roundfit ski and snowboarding helmets are also included, along with cylindrical M4 goggles that have a soft, cloudy pink lens. Extra lenses and ski masks are included for an additional layer of customization.

While the collaborators hail from snow-laden regions—Vermont and Japan—their simple, streamlined designs offer endless possibilities for customization, no matter the occasion. Both curators have devoted their lives to snowboarding to the point where it transcends sport and becomes a way of life. This collection reflects that devotion, blending a deep appreciation for the culture of snowboarding with a sharp instinct for style. The result is a seamless fusion of passion and comfort.
