The most fun way to end fashion month? Disneyland! On Wednesday (March 7) night, the happiest place on earth hosted by the coolest kids on Earth as Opening Ceremony not only dropped their new spring 2018 collection but presented their collaboration with Disney in celebration of Mickey's 90th year anniversary. The clothes were a mix of shirting and sportswear with lightly decorated  patterns.

Galactic graphics shared space with motorway and metal elements. Shoes were platformed from Buffalo while Birkenstock's shimmered and glittered. The new selection also yielded collaborations with Columbia sportswear and Aloha Blossom. Humberto Leon explained that the show was a no-brainer: "When we started working with them I threw out the idea of having a fashion show at Disneyland and everybody's eyes got big, we were nervous, excited and scared but they knew they wanted to do something really big for Mickey's 90th birthday."

Annexing Toontown after dark, the crowd was a mix of influencer and indie and reflected both the giant juggernauts claim on youth culture as well as Opening Ceremony's esoteric zeitgeist-making crowd, one that had stars like Laverne Cox, Chance the Rapper, Chloe x Halle, Kilo Kish, Ryan Heffington, Robert Alfons of TR/ST Moses Sumney, Karen O all getting down to the sounds of DJ Kingdom.
