Juliana Huxtable, known for her talents as a poet, DJ, and artist is now leaving her mark in modeling as the star of the KENZO x H&M campaign, according to [Artnet](https://news.artnet.com/art-world/juliana-huxtable-chosen-as-a-face-of-kenzo-x-hm-collaboration-599027). Huxtable is in good company, appearing alongside a diverse group including activist Amy Sall, make-up artist Isamaya Ffrench, and performance artist and musician Oko Ebombo.
The Kenzo and H&M collaboration captures the models covered in brightly colored zebra print in a show of “creativity, fun and love of fashion,” as stated by the creative advisor at H&M, Ann-Sofie Johansson.
Huxtable has risen to prominence in recent years, garnering public attention and support for her role as a transgender icon, DJ, and performance artist. In 2015, she contributed her art to the New Museum Triennial “Surround Audience” with a striking self-portrait, while also serving as the muse for Frank Benson’s triumphant nude sculpture, simply titled _Juliana_.
The collection will become available in stores on November 3, 2016.
