In honor of the brand’s 180th anniversary, Tiffany & Co. has announced a new exhibition, Vision & Virtuosity. Scheduled to open to the public in Shanghai, China, on September 23rd, the show will look back at some of the legendary jeweler’s finest creative achievements. “These two values—vision and virtuosity—lie at the heart of Tiffany & Co.,” said Tiffany & Co.’s chief executive officer, Alessandro Boglio, “and this exhibition represents the best of our brand.” Housed in the Fosun Foundation, “Vision & Virtuosity” offers viewers a glimpse into The Tiffany Archives, contextualizing some of the company’s most iconic moments since its foundation in 1837. Among the documented “Tiffany firsts” will be the introduction of the first modern engagement ring, the Tiffany® Setting.
