Over Labor Day weekend, our favorite LA-based boutique [LCD](https://www.shoplcd.co) and KkCo (the second K is silent) and launched an exclusive capsule collection featuring a new tie-dye colorway, the Reef Tie-Dye.
KkCo's mix of femme and utilitarian styles- think airy floral dresses with carabiners and hot pink utility pant and vest sets caught LCD founder, Geraldine Chung's eye, "I fell in love with Kkco's casually exuberant use of color and shape, as well as the feminine but tomboy attitude and knew immediately I wanted to collaborate with them."
The exclusive capsule features clothes and accessories in their exclusive Reef Tie-Dye, boxy t-shirts, sheer tights, socks, and tube tops in swirling sherbert tones, are designed to be worn alone or layered together to transition from summer to spring. Other pieces include a punchy coral dress, lavender bucket hats, and a pair of black boxy utility sunglasses.
The collection was consciously made in Los Angeles, hand-dyed with natural fibers and produced in small batches to minimize wastage. “We wanted to offer a collection that created a conversation around climate change,” said Kara Jubin, founder of KkCo. “We aimed to produce mindfully and sustainably without jeopardizing design.”
With a focus on drawing awareness to our current climate situation, 10% of all proceeds will go to either the Surfrider Foundation or the Rainforest Alliance - giving the customer the option to choose.
The collection will be sold exclusively at LCD stores in Venice and The Row DTLA and on the LCD website: [https://www.shoplcd.co](https://www.shoplcd.co/)
