

The baguette bag, one of the original “It bag” has been a canvas for many fashion experiments. The baguette bag is iconic and in turn, different styles of the bag have been made: suede, leather, fur, and even sequins and beaded. However, FENDI knew that the possibilities didn’t stop there.
[FENDI](https://www.fendi.com/us/) worked together with [Francis Kurkdjian](https://www.franciskurkdjian.com/?lang=en), a perfume expert and connoisseur, to create a cutting-edge baguette. They created a bag that captures the olfactory personality and essence of the bag, along with it’s visual beauty and luxurious quality. The supple leather is soaked and infused with a scent; a technique that Kurkdjian patented.
The fragrance lasts for up to four years and elegantly compliments the natural leather scent of the bag. It works in harmony with the person carrying it - it becomes their fragrance.
The alluring yellow color and artwork that is printed on the bag is the work of photographer [Christelle Boulé](https://www.christelleboule.com/). Boulé takes a few drops of perfume onto film paper, lets it dry, develops it and photographs the imprint. The print on the bag is the portrait of the Kurkdjian-Fendi scent.
The intricately crafted, multi-sensory _FENDIFRENESIA_ Scented Baguette will be available exclusively in the FENDI Miami Design District boutique.
