Forever 21 has been expanding the beauty section in its stores for a while now, carrying various beauty products conveniently located by checkout stands that tempt each customer to spend an additional $5 on lip balm and such.
As the beauty industry continues to gross millions each year (earning $445 billion in sales according to Forbes), it comes as no surprise that the fashion retailer decided to expand its beauty section and rake in more coins by launching their own beauty boutique, Riley Rose.
Creators of this one-stop shop beauty destination are Esther and Linda Chang, daughters of Forever 21 founders. The sisters wanted to create an interactive space where millennials could easily grab all of their beauty faves from hair, skincare, and body in one location. Riley Rose aims to “Fuse online possibility with real life community to create an experience where girls are inspired to indulge their fantasies, run wild, and get lost.”
You can expect Riley Rose to have all of your favorite beauty brands well stocked-- carrying everything from RMS and Stila to Korean skincare brands like Banila Co and Nuca.
Riley Rose opens its doors September 30 at the Glendale Galleria in Glendale, California with more stores to open in the next few months.
