At The Surf Lodge, the dining experience is sacred — so much so that the Montauk establishment has decided to launch their weekly dining series, Sunset Supper Club. On June 25th, The Surf Lodge celebrated the inception of the series by inviting guests to relish in the cuisine of London-based chef Thomas Straker, accompanied by a live performance by Chaparelle and a DJ set by Prospa. The event takes place every Thursday night, welcoming guests to gather together for beachfront dining, live music, and craft cocktails. Ultimately, “it’s a night where you come for dinner and leave with new friends”, an event designed to foster community through food and music. 

Attendants of the event include acclaimed interior designer Athena Calderone; actor and CEO of House of Waris, Waris Ahluwalia; and cofounder of MADE fashion week Jenne Lombardo, among others. The dinner was also complemented by House of Waris’s trademark alcohol-free champagne, supplying a delectable alcohol-free alternative to celebrate the launch of the series. 

Every week, The Surf Lodge will be inviting distinguished chefs to serve up a family-style meal for attendees. An eclectic series devoted to invigorating Montauk’s locals and tourists, the Sunset Supper Club allows diners to engage in a communal, immersive, and elevated dining experience.
