Once the bubbles start spilling, there’s no telling what will happen next. Last night, Veuve Clicquot poured one out for Club Solaire’s grand opening, drawing tastemakers from all industries to Venice Beach for a spirited celebration filled with food, music, and the brand’s iconic golden yellow.

Guests included Charlize Theron, Grace Van Patten, and True Whitaker, all in beachy whites and creams; Este Haim, who soundtracked the sunset with a patchwork DJ set; and Arden Cho, Ashley Madekwe, Christina Hendricks, Nadine Bhabha, Paris Brosnan, and Drew Ray Tanner, among many others. As day turned to dusk on the Venice Beach Boardwalk, invitees danced the night away, raising a glass of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label in commemoration.

“Bringing people together in a spirit of joy has always been at the heart of the Veuve Clicquot story,” says Veuve Clicquot President Thomas Mulliez. And now, the brand presents a venue for this very purpose. Club Solaire will take place over the first weekend of October, offering a series of six intimate, ticketed experiences, all centered on joy. Partners and pioneering members include Jessica Yang, founder of Folderol wine and ice cream bar; Jordan Kahn, Michelin-starred chef; Heather Tierney, music curator; Ashley Moubayed, jewelry designer and founder of Don’t Let Disco; Sela Shiloni, renowned photographer; and Fátima Juárez, James Beard Award-nominated chef.

All proceeds from champagne sales at the Club Solaire Boardwalk Café will benefit Regarding Her, a national nonprofit that supports women entrepreneurs and leaders in the food and beverage industry. The celebration extends beyond the weekend, with support for the Los Angeles Parks Foundation, whose crucial advocacy supports the Venice Beach Pier, the heart of Club Solaire.

“This is actually my first event with Veuve, so I’m excited to learn tonight,” says Van Patten, star of the teen-soap series Tell Me Lies. “After a couple of glasses of champagne, we can learn a lot.”
