Languid beach days. Long coffee breaks. Wide boulevards bookmarked by iconic architecture. Open freeways lined with characteristic palm trees. There has always been a connection between Los Angeles and Paris, even when separated by over 5,600 miles. At the beginning of Paris Fashion Week, Palm Angels and Maison Guava harnessed that transatlantic symbiosis into a limited edition capsule that fused American rebellion and European taste.

The two brands collaborated to create a 15-piece capsule, available exclusively at Maison Guava’s Paris boutique. Channeling Parisian passion into American heritage, the capsule highlights the innovation of cross-cultural partnership, bridging two different interpretations of streetwear into one fit for a singular community. It is no longer French versus American, but a collection honoring the strengths of each culture by coupling them. At the launch party, guests were also able to explore Palm Angels’ SS27 collection, an homage to Americana identity, while enjoying the music of DJ 0mizs.

Through this collaboration, Palm Angels affirmed its appreciation of connection between cities, brands, and communities. Maison Guava utilized the partnership as a continuation of its commitment to emerging local designers, bringing a fresh perspective to the fashion of Los Angeles skate culture, where Palm Angels began. Revealing the similarities between American and European fashion, Palm Angels and Maison Guava lay the foundation for a future of intercontinental reciprocity, where innovation on one side of the Atlantic fuels creativity on the other.
