Sarah Staudinger, the founder of the LA fashion label STAUD, kicked off the seventh edition of Frieze with intimate cocktails at the Chateau Marmont penthouse. Hosting alongside her husband, Ari Emanuel, the founder of MARI—a global events and experiences company that includes Frieze in its portfolio—the couple toasted to an evening that fused fashion and art.
The evening brought together a diverse host of artists, gallerists, institutional leadership, and notable names from fashion and entertainment. Guests conversed and enjoyed the evening, accompanied by drinks and music by HANK. Amongst the attendees spanning various creative sectors were Orlando Bloom, Rachel Sennott, Dree Hemingway, and Winnie Harlow, alongside prominent figures Jeff Deitch and Bill Maher.

Honoring the arts, creativity, and craftsmanship, the evening also hosted the debut of STAUD's newest limited-edition, collectible Tommy Bag. Created in collaboration with contemporary Ethiopian artist Merikokeb Berhanu, represented by the James Cohn Gallery, her work will be featured at Frieze. The collectible bags are inspired by Berhanu’s painting "Untitled CII" (2025) and will be available in four designs, with a ten-edition run for each.
Championing the harmonious relationship between contemporary arts and fashion, the cocktail showcased Staudinger and Emanuel’s dedication to championing the LA art community. As the night came to an end, guests felt inspired by the vibrant creativity, setting an exciting tone for the week ahead at Frieze LA.
