In coordination with Coachella’s first weekend of musical festivities, NYLON hosted their fourth annual House in the Desert party on Friday, April 10th. The event, presented by Matrix in celebration of their freshly unveiled partnership with Katseye, brought its “Nocturna” theme to life with the support of a moonlit B2B DJ set from Diplo and Hugel. Musicians, models, actors, and social media stars converged amidst the crowd, donning dark, grungy attire that set the tone for a desert evening full of dancing and photo-ops.

Partygoers perused the interactive experiences and exclusive product offerings that proliferated the event’s grounds. Popular amongst these installations were the comfortable social lounges arranged by Trident and Sketchers, encouraging an opportunity for relaxation at the beginning of the busy weekend. Beauty and wellness sponsors e.l.f. Cosmetics and Sally Hansen stocked guests with makeup and manicure goods, while Neutrogena’s glowing skincare exhibition utilized neon-blue lighting to exemplify their Hydro-Boost Water Gel’s hydrating and luminous qualities.

Recognizable attendees such as Olivia Holt, Karrueche Tran, Big Sean, and Rauw Alejandro partied and posed to the beat of the festival's ongoing soundtrack as its inaugural night commenced. Nylon House’s effortless combination of music, movement, and style brought the spirit of after-dark intrigue to Coachella’s enlivened atmosphere.
