Pharrell Williams, Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Creative Director brings the Parisian fashion maison to the peaceful refuge of the English countryside in the newest SS 2026 Men’s Pre-Collection. From music to art to fashion, Williams transcends the boundaries of every creative pursuit he faces—and this pre-collection reinforces this sort of cultural exchange through the splicing of bucolic country dress with contemporary city expression.
The Monogram Surplus is threaded throughout the collection in an adaptation of camouflage through Williams’ vision. The camo-esque pattern, emblematic of the blend between Parisian sophistication and English sartorial elegance, takes inspiration from the landscape itself with a muted palette over distressed materials in parkas, tweed jackets, and even outdoor camping equipment like tents, chairs, and sleeping bags. The new pre-collection is split into two parts: the first setting the iconic Louis Vuitton dandy in the picturesque landscape of the English countryside, and the second contrasted by the coziness of the storied country house.
The outdoorsy installment renders the vastness of the British autumnal landscape into a transitional wardrobe, featuring sharply tailored outwear including collarless puffers woven in tweed, quilted Monogram gilets, or canvas field jackets embellished with the Monogram. These pieces are functional as they are fashionable, with technical cloth that allows the wearer to explore the beauty of the British countryside. The muted forest greens and earthy beiges are painted with the Monogram—over a nylon jacquard blouson or a printed denim suit, even a reversible windbreaker decorated with ornamental waterdrops worked into the motif.
When the sun sinks below the rolling hills and dusk sets in, the collection ignites an air of elegance aligned with indoor dress codes. The formality and sophistication is met with the cozy atmosphere of the country house through garments that contrast their more rugged counterparts: a leather track jacket turned shearling or windbreakers with leather sleeves. Classic British imagery comes to life as well, with a cushy cable knit, an argyle crewneck cardigan, and a tweed track top with Monogram plaid. A double-face jacquard wool jacket is emblazoned with LV Tartan, reminiscent of the comfort of an intimate gathering sheltered from the brisk autumn weather. An LV Emblem heraldry graphic of fox, crown, and ribbon elements makes itself seen on a blouson embellished with gems, beads, and sequins.
Aside from the pre-collection’s wearables, the Monogram Surplus appears over the textured canvas of Keepalls, mini satchels, a Christopher backpack, even the inside of a Courier Lozine trunk containing similarly emblazoned glamping supplies. Williams’ affection for animals also becomes clear through a life-sized mixed leather Beagle puppy or a Speedy Pet Trunk in the classic Monogram canvas. For the accessories, the Monogram Surplus is featured on reversible chunky LV Crush beanies, caps, and socks. Also featured is the LV Animal motif on caps, or washed-silk bandanas and ties. The collection will also debut a new version of the Super Vision sunglasses.
Lastly, for the outdoor dandy exploring winding paths through lush environments, the collection introduces various new footwear that blends timeless sophistication with the modern physical practicality. The footwear line features the new LV Summit—a mesh runner that doubles for hiking with a light grip sole—the skate-inspired LV Tilted, the LV Bubble Gum moccasin with a crepe sole, the LV Easy mules in black leather or suede, the LV Oxford—a classic of black leather embellished with pearls or studs—or the LV Remix that takes shape as a combat boot, a derby, or a loafer. Lace-ups and boots are featured in the LV Yeti line, and finally, the LV ButterSoft Foot Sneaker debuts in new color schemes that match the serenity of the environment it’s meant to embody.
