For Spring–Summer 2026, Lacoste transformed the landmark Hall Eiffel at Lycée Carnot into The Locker Room. Inside Hector Degeorge’s 1895 glass-and-iron structure, steam swirled around curved glass, tiled walls, and shower curtains rippling in the wind, creating an immersive space that blurs the line between private ritual and public spectacle — part sports facility, part art installation.

Creative Director Pelagia Kolotouros turns her attention to the moments after a match, presenting The Locker Room as a liminal space where, whether in the aftermath of triumph or defeat, athletes are left exposed in a quiet state of vulnerability.

The collection focuses on relaxed, casual styling—unbuttoned tennis polos, half-zipped tracksuits, towels wrapped around the waist, and other subtle acts that defy the precision and perfection expected in sport. Athletes leave sweat-soaked layers behind, moving into freedom, lightness, and effortless elegance. Lacoste’s sporting legacy anchors the collection.

Silhouettes remain fluid, with loose tailoring and unfinished proportions. Oversized transparent polos drape over wide-leg trousers in tropical wool or mohair, while crisp poplin and terry pieces feature inscriptions like Only for Tennis. Vintage sportswear is reinterpreted through a contemporary lens — balancing elegance with ease. Colors nod to the past while feeling fresh and current: archival blue and vibrant orange are paired with taupe, olive, and soft neutrals. Delicate floral embroidery references René Lacoste’s original love of the game, celebrating sport as a joy rather than a source of pressure.

The Locker Room captures the stillness in the aftermath of a match — when sweat cools, the crowd disperses, and athletes are left stripped of their armour.
