Come with me to the Lacoste SS26 fashion show in Paris !!

Steamed glass panels, tiled floors, flowing plastic shower curtains, stacks of towels as seats. Beauty and fashion tastemaker Janelle Zharmenova takes us along with her into the Lacoste SS26 locker room. Known for her effortless makeup tutorials, the London-based creator captures the day, from her morning skincare, to sitting in the Hall Eiffel at Lycée Carnot in Paris’ 17th arrondissement.

Lacoste Creative Director, Pelagia Kolotouros, transforms the landmark into a locker room: a liminal space that evokes both tension and relief, victory and defeat. The translucency of the steamed glass and plastic shower curtains is mirrored in sheer garments that both highlight and obscure its wearer. Janelle invites us into the world of Lacoste where the tension of privacy and expression reminds us of our own identities. Through her lens, we see beyond the surface where self-expression, authenticity, and intimacy shines.

The show invite was a bar of soap and a picture of a locker room...I'm picturing: clean, casual, yet chic and sporty looks. An ode to Lacoste's sporty and elevated pieces: the cool, nonchalant athletes leaving the locker room at school looking somehow better than the rest even after an intense workout.
I woke up early to get ready, keeping my makeup natural looking while also enhancing those under eyes because those bags needed extra love and attention after the madness of fashion month.
Strutting my way to the Lacoste show on a surprisingly bright and warm Sunday morning in Paris.
The show is about to start, and I'm guided to my seat that is made out of... Towels? quite iconic.
The models graced us with their steady and confident walks. Displaying bright shades of orange, blues, and greens. I always pay attention to accessories and glam. I loved how exaggerated some of these accessories looked while the glam stayed minimal, sleek, yet a hint of colour either on the cheeks or the lips, balancing each look perfectly.
Now time for the Lacoste dinner at the Shangri La Hotel in Paris, easily the most beautiful hotel I've seen in Paris this trip. I got to meet some new faces and speak to the brand reps. I think everyone was happy but feeling a bit bittersweet with it being the end of fashion month.
So many new designers changing and moulding the new era of fashion as we know it. What a great way to conclude this month, thank you to the Lacoste team for making my day so special <3 Over and out fashion month!
