Continuing its reputation as a defining force among timepiece designers, Jaeger-LeCoultre has extended its hallmark Polaris collection with the newest Polaris Date. Jaeger-LeCoultre originally introduced the Polaris in 1968 with its Memovox design, culminating the watchmaker’s commitment to wearability and intricate design. Today, Jaeger-LeCoultre remains devoted to durable, elegant watches that withstand everyday life.
Improving upon the reintroduction of the Polaris in 2018, the newest Polaris Date is marked by a more compact, 40mm steel case and a reduced diameter of 12.9mm. Such modifications are inspired by the original 1968 Polaris by preserving bold design while pioneering increased comfort. Improvements such as these also accommodate a wider range of wrists.

To further enhance its technological prowess, the Polaris Date features Jaeger-LeCoultre’s highly efficient Calibre 899—the automatic internal mechanism that allows for a 70 hour power reserve. Combined with the intricacy of its steel case, the Polaris Date’s power reserve demonstrates high performance and ability to withstand daily routines.
Jaeger-LeCoultre also maintains its legacy as a Swiss watchmaking powerhouse through understated artistry. The new Polaris Date features a sapphire crystal case-back and a dark blue gradient lacquer dial, which are fitted alongside a blue canvas strap. The refined design elements and technological advancements of the Polaris Date extend Jaeger-LeCoultre’s legacy of durability and performance.
