In celebration of a collaboration with contemporary artist Takashi Murakami, Dom Pérignon toasted the debut of the Murakami Flower Studio with an exclusive VIP event in SoHo. Following in the footsteps of Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol, Murakami designed bottles and coffrets for Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015 and for the introduction of Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2010. The collaboration comes after Murakami joined the Maison for its new creative chapter announced in 2025, Creation is an Eternal Journey.

Murakami embraced this eternal spirit with his creations, sharing, “Through my collaboration with Dom Pérignon, I wanted to express a form of time travel. My goal is to remain relevant in 100 or 200 years and to transcend time. When the label has aged, and I am gone, and my children are gone, I hope that people of the future, when they see it, will reimagine 2025 in their own minds.”

The event took place inside a reimagined atelier and offered guests a first-look at the Maison’s newest limited editions. The Maison invited guests like Evan Ross Katz and Anaa Saber into Murakami’s world through innovative displays and interactive experiences: a live Ikebana floral station, a custom AR mirror animating Murakami’s iconic smiling flowers, and immersive nods to the artist’s creative process. With a performance from DJ Lumia, the perfectly curated atmosphere served as the stage for a successful event. The immersive installation pop-up opened to the public for two days following the event. This collaboration between two masters-of-craft is available for purchase now.
