As a part of their new and exclusive in-store release, the High Summer collection, Damson Madder launched a four-day pop-up and exclusive dinner in LA’s very own Melrose Hill, celebrating the high fashion sector as the summer season peeks around the corner. With 3,000 square feet of event space on Western Avenue, the brand’s newest High Summer collection was on display, as well as several pop-up immersive installations, including a café food truck serving fish and chips by Chef Chloe Walsh, as well as 99¢ al fresco style Mr. Whippy’s ice cream.

Always bearing environmental responsibility in mind, Damson Madder is a proudly female-led company branching out of North London, aiming to create unique pieces without the cost of excess waste. Founded by Emma Hill, the company has a team of 45 women based in Camden, where the team has exponentially grown into a multi-million-pound company in just five years, all based on the fundamentals of sustainable quality.
The newest collection focuses on warm seasonal beachwear and bright summer apparel, including bikinis, tankinis, and boy-shorts, starring fresh prints and patterns – stripes, swirls, and ginghams alike. The array of summer accessories includes hats, sarongs, and beach bags entirely made with recycled acetate. With an even wider range of summer pieces, the High Summer collection perfectly captures the serenity and universal feeling of having a picnic on the beach.

The event’s storefront was nothing short of breezy, blissful, and fun in the sun. Distinguished by a blue façade provoking a warm summer sky, engraved with the Damson Madder logo. The interior centered on a mid-century modern layout, designed with immersive shopping areas to create a seamless and homey atmosphere to echo Damson Madder’s easy and effortless aesthetic.
Notable guests at the Melrose Hill event included Lily Allen, Iris Law, Vivian Wilson, Barbie Ferreira, Zoe Lister, Hope Tala, Jaz Sinclair, and Tatiana Ringsby, who were among the many attendees dancing, chatting, and listening to melodious sets deep into the evening by Bianca Lexis. Goodie bags were given at the end of the event, chock-full of beauty products from Glow Recipe and Olive & June. Refreshments offered included Elderflower Condesa Gin gin & tonics, velvety wines from Frank Family Vineyards, and non-alcoholic sodas from Culture Pop and eco-friendly Boxed Water.

Thanks to Damson Madder, the evening was filled with warmth and zero urgency. Situated like a vibrant summer’s day, both radiant and intoxicating, guests were left sun-kissed and carefree.
