Christian Louboutin invited guests to an avant-garde American football game for the presentation of his Spring/Summer 2026 women’s collection. A Parisian stadium-turned-high school football field acted as the runway for the maison’s latest spectacle. Louboutin proves that with proper footwear, art can indeed be athletic.

Creative visionary David LaChapelle breathed life into the stadium. He envisioned an entire story complete with five acts which reimagined the celebratory ritual of the game. The show began with one woman, crossing the field dressed head to toe in black, pushing a lawnmower in signature red-bottomed heels. Then, the show commenced.

Brilliant choreographer Bianca Li immersed viewers in the comradery that is vital a part of the homecoming game. Athletes in glistening socks and signature red bottomed heels played with a bejeweled ball. An official military marching band, the sapeur-pompiers de Paris, performed around a seahorse mascot flying a Louboutin flag. Cheerleaders tossed red pom poms and danced atop a three tiered cake in the Ballerina Ultima, reinterpreted through the Cassia lens. The presentation displayed the new bellet-inspired Cassia line, including the Cassia Annmac, taking inspiration from leg warmers, the Cassiasticina, echoing the gracefulness of a ballerina slipper, and the Ruben–which brings the Cassia line into the men's collection for the first time. The spectacle  even featured a proper ‘half-time’ show with a leather-clad Milo Thoretton.

Louboutin’s presentation went beyond the conventional extravagance expected at Paris Fashion Week and created an entire atmosphere. Through the collaboration with creatives LaChapelle and Li, the maison made audiences nostalgic for their youth, bringing home a massive triumph.
