Driven by both a sense of nostalgia and preference for enduring craftsmanship, the resurgence of vintage adornment, particularly in fashion and design, is no stranger to the world of sound. It was these concepts of nostalgia and artistry, as well as pure sonic excellence, that laid the foundation for Bang & Olufsen’s latest debut – the Beosystem 3000c – a refined music system that reintroduces the Danish home entertainment company’s 1985 iconic Beogram 3000 turntable into a transformed, contemporary sound system.
Limited to 100 complete units, each engraved with its unique edition number and certificate of authenticity, the Beosystem 3000c encompasses both the upgraded turntable and a set of Bang & Olufsen Beolab 8 speakers, meshing past and present in a coordinated artisanal walnut and grey aluminum finish. The Beosystem 3000c is the third release from the company’s “Recreated Classics” series, a line devoted to reclaiming audio charm through thoughtful restoration and aesthetic reinterpretation.
“Through our Recreated Classics series, we honor the cultural impact of vinyl listening while showcasing the long-lasting value of Bang & Olufsen products, even beyond their first lifecycle,” Mads Kogsgaard Hansen, head of product circularity and portfolio planning for the luxury speaker house, says. “The Beosystem 3000c invites our customers to rediscover their vinyl collections and enjoy the emotional richness of music as it was meant to be heard.”
The Beosystem 3000c is made to order and available, online and from select Bang & Olufsen stores, now. Turntable product details include a newly engineered control panel, dust lid, fabric cables and a pickup cartridge, and can support both vinyl and streaming music experiences alike.
