While no baseball players were present, Dodger Stadium was packed this past weekend, with fans screaming and cheering for their favorite people. With a sold-out show, Fuerza Regida dominated the venue as they continue with their first-ever US stadium tour, “This is Our Dream.” The group is breaking ticket sale records that Bad Bunny and Morgan Wallen previously held, while also being the first Regional Mexican group to sell out Dodger Stadium. Defining this genre for generations to come, Fuerza Regida is only beginning to build their music empire.

Earlier this year, the group was recognized for their album 111XPANTIA, receiving their first win from an American Music Award for Best Latin Duo or Group. With a Grammy and iHeartRadio nominations for Best Regional Mexican Music, Fuerza Regida is outselling and surpassing other artists straight to the number two spot on the all-genre Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Forming in 2015, their frontman Jesús Ortiz Paz (JOP) has led the group to stardom. Staying grounded in their roots of traditional/ regional Mexican sounds while blending in more modernized influences, he is maintaining and building one of the most passionate fan bases there is. Proudly showing off his comedic shirts of charcters/people that have influenced the group’s music and performance style, JOP is reminding fans to constantly be inspired. Seen with photos collected during the tour, the group is a mix of high-energy performance. With a clear influence from other iconic artists, like Michael Jackson, they also maintain their individual identity as a music group.
