The LA Dance Project teams up with COS for a night of performances
The evening celebration consisted of three dances for the [LA Dance Projects](http://ladanceproject.org) “L.A. Dances” Fall festival. One of the pieces performed that night, “Adagio in B Minor,” choreographed by LADP principal dancer Janie Taylor, featured costumes by [COS](https://www.cosstores.com/en_usd/index.html). The night featured two other performances of “Rising Water” by Gianna Reisen and “Chapter Song” by Kyle Abraham. The showecase was followed by “L’After” to help raise funds for future programming by LADP, hosted by LADP’s Creative Director and Founder Benjamin Millepied and actress Margaret Qualley. The dancers snuck in a surprise performance at the afterparty of “Split Step” by Emily Mast and Zack Winokur. In attendance were Margaret Qualley, Benjamin Millepied, Andie MacDowell, Kaitlynn Dever, Shannen Doherty, Nathalie Love, Janie Taylor, David Freeland Jr and the LADP dancers along with a DJ set by Cashmere Cat. COS will be hosting a discussion with Benjamin and Janie at the COS Downtown LA store on Wednesday October 9th with a premier of a behind the scene’s film of Janie’s performance. “L.A. Dances” features 13 dance pieces and will run from September 26 through November 24 at the [LADP Studio](https://www.google.com/maps/place/2245+E+Washington+Blvd,+Los+Angeles,+CA+90021/@34.0192797,-118.233968,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x80c2c89784772077:0x3c10bde8ad15270c!8m2!3d34.0192753!4d-118.231774) in Downtown LA. * * * Images courtesy of COS
