A Cloudy Day Is No Match for a Sunny Disposition
The Second Annual Block Party LA Last Weekend in DTLA
Last Saturday, on one of the few occasions that Los Angeles wasn't showered in sunshine and great weather, the second annual Block Party LA took place in DTLA. The damp weather didn't curb the excitement of those attending; the street was lined with various food trucks, vintage vendors, art, and people of all ages. Block Party LA is a platform for up and coming Hip Hop artists and DJ's as well as locally-based brands and entrepreneurs to present their work and to spread awareness of L.A.-based independent artists, a portion of the proceeds were also donated to a scholarship program for the Children’s Defense Fund “Beat the Odds.”
