### PHILIPPE VERNE
The French Director of The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, Verne revolutionized how the museum engaged with its city. Verne, a veteran curator with experience in both Europe and the US, is the former director of the Dia Art Foundation in New York. In 2014 he was made a Chevalier of the Legion of Honor—the highest French order for civil merit.
