[MYRNE](https://www.instagram.com/myrnemusic/) is carving his own lane in the music industry, best known for crossing the genres of pop and high-energy electronic dance music. Growing up in Singapore and learning classical music early on, the producer is equipped with the ability to make timeless records — including 2015’s _Softsins_ EP. Since then, he’s garnered support from the likes of Diplo, Madeon, and Martin Garrix.
Now, he returns with his newest single titled “Sleeping On My Own Again,” out now via Ultra Records. The track is a sure cure for the masses as we’re all quarantined inside our homes due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Carrying a different sound than his previous singles, MYRNE is confident fans will enjoy the energy and vibe of this new release.
Speaking on the song, he describes it as a “somber yet fun song.” He states, “A close friend of mine, Charlie Kurata (Duumu), sent me a bunch of guitar instrumentals that he wrote. I somehow got inspired to write about insecurity in a relationship, and the defeated resignation that follows after both parties realize there isn't much for each other anymore. The kind of song I'd listen to alone, staring out a window at 2AM."
