Set in the East Side of Manhattan, the 75 minute documentary from director Gustavo Sánch stars Amanda Lepore, Chloe Dzubilo, Sophia Lamar, and T De Long, four norm-questioning artists and transgender activists. The feature tells the authentic stories, struggles, and thoughts of these revolutionary individuals as their fight for freedom intertwines with the gritty, alternative nightlife scene in New York City.
Filmed across a decade, 2007-2017, hours of raw, real footage has been pieced together to create the documentary that is _I HATE NEW YORK._ After performing well at film festivals internationally, the feature will be released digitally in North America on September 1st.
