These days, a real rock song can be hard to come by. Luckily, the video for Social Animals’ new track “Get Over It” drops today. The video shows the band in a run-down room with their instruments and some pretty girls. It’s a tried and tested formula that still somehow manages to delight. Frontman Dedric Clark has all the right elements too. He’s got the shaggy head of curls and just a bit of grit in his voice. It carries the song to the appropriate level of breakup angst. Of the track, he said, “A lot of images from a lot of different apartments wash over me when I think of this song. Always waiting on a text, or for someone to pick up the phone. I’ve changed my number since then. It felt natural to film the video in a similar scene…” The bands new vinyl “[Best Years](https://riserecords.com/products/sclabety01-dl)” drops 4/3.
