For Carr, the relationship in question was one that ended due to a common case of “life had other plans.” She said, “I think a lot of special connections between people get left unsaid and it’s a part of life that I really hate.”
“Unsaid” is a track worth giving a listen if you’re the type who likes to get in on the ground floor of rising musicians’ careers. It’s only the seventh track she’s released, and already, she’s been featured on Spotify’s “Fresh Finds” playlist.
Carr has everything she needs to blow up: catchy songs, tastefully dyed hair, a home-base in LA, and a relatable track professing her love for a rock ‘n roller boy. Her muse was Van McCann, frontman of Catfish and the Bottlemen.
Young, female singer-songwriters are slowly taking over the music scene, and if it’s going to sound this sweet, we might as well sit back and enjoy the show.
